The Illustrated Encyclopedia of the Sidesaddle, by Rhonda C. Watts Hettinger.
The only complaint I have about this book is, I wish it were bigger so the photographs were larger! It's really hard to find sidesaddle books, but Ms. Hettinger, a director of the American Sidesaddle Association, has filled a serious gap in our library with this one. Chock-full of fascinating information about a style of riding that is still practiced by those who enjoy its elegance. A great deal of research has obviously gone into this book.
